Le Charme de la Raison marks Claudio Massini’s first solo exhibition in Paris, bringing together a focused selection of works produced between 2007 and today. Massini’s practice unfolds outside of fashions and movements. His paintings transform mundane objects into vessels of memory and contemplation. Flowers, garlands, amphorae, church spires, vessels or goblets recur throughout his work, as symbols patiently refined, carrying a sense of time, ritual, and inner life.

Born in Naples in 1955, Massini studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli, where he developed a singular language grounded in craftsmanship, intuition, and continuity. His work resists immediacy, favoring instead a slow and deliberate process through which images acquire depth, resonance, and a lasting presence.
